Being a foodie, getting into a buffet restaurant is one of the things I am fond of. I love trying different types of dish, eating all the food you wanted at a very affordable and reasonable price. I have tried twice this 'Oppa Korean BBQ Restaurant' located in JCube Mall at Jurong East (Singapore) where they cater a grill/cook-yourself style buffet. Aside from 'Seoul Garden Buffet Restaurant', which cater the same concept, Oppa gives a cheaper fee for their customer. For some people, they would really consider this place for the reason of paying less, but some would tend to compare this restaurant to other place that they have been too before, like for instance is the choices and variety of dish they have. For me, it's not that much choices available compare to other restaurants I have been to. At the end of the day, the amount I have paid for is still more than worthy of the satisfaction that I got.
I love Kimchi, as in a lot! And Oppa serves kimchi, the only Korean buffet that serves this dish so far for me, so literally, I am so happy.
I also love this 'Korean Hot Tea' that they have in the house and it's really quite addicting for me because every time I drink this tea, I didn't get this feeling of fullness at all -- for some people who go into a buffet, drinking is one of the least thing that we do so we won't get full in an instant, as much as possible, we just eat and eat and eat first then lastly we drink any liquids so in that way, even we give up eating after drinking because of getting full, we ate everything we wanted already and it's worthy of the pay. And oh, not even sipping soup, as in totally no liquids first. But for me, drinking this 'Korean hot tea' broke our mentality, I can still eat after drinking without getting the feeling of fullness. As I know, having hot drinks after eating some of these fatty food helps to aid the building up of the oils and fats in our body system so it's a good way too of eating a lot without compromising much about your health.
